PROJECT MISSION
Rise up as a community and complete an athletic campus that serves the needs of our future, our youth and the students of the Waterloo Community School District, the Northeast side of Waterloo, and provide a safe, well-programmed facility that can be shared and enjoyed with the entire community.

Segment approach
Segment 1: All baseball field work including lights, dugouts, fencing, press box, bleacher seating, scoreboard, batting cages, sidewalks, entrance gate, monument sign, eastern entrance gate and garbage/recycling enclosure
Segment 2: Plaza, sidewalks, concessions, restrooms and storage building, bus lane, streetside ADA parking stalls
Segment 3: Locker rooms, clubhouse, bathrooms, team facility, study zone and coaches quarters
Segment 4: Extend softball dugouts, new netting, replace chain link fencing
Segment 5: Courts expansion with the addition of pickle ball, basketball, and renovated tennis courts, to include bleacher seating, northwest entrance gate, parking lot, ada streetside parking stalls, and remaining fencing for the campus

The Waterloo Community School District tips the first domino! As part of our first phase for the project the school board has approved funding of $343,000 for the baseball field lights. It's been more than a decade since West High has had their lights and we are excited our students will start their 2024 season with some improvements to the athletic campus!
